These disorders comes with it social, psychological and physical problems.  Problems of obesity come with various complications including long term/chronic disorders with their various co-morbidity matters.

There have been needs to investigate these problems and find ways to develop and implement guidelines for dealing with these issues.  To this end the International Association of Health Care Professionals (IAHCP) Eating Disorders Project Group looks into the issues of eating disorders and investigates the best ways to deal with the various problems.  The Group are also developing the guidelines on managing eating Disorders in the Community.
